I am a detail-oriented person who started studying architecture for the creative side of the profession, not for the administrative tasks. However, I have learned that both aspects are equally important.

A design needs to be well thought through, suited to positively influence the day-to-day lives of the inhabitants, and the detailing gives the building its own personality to share with the world. No two days are the same, no two teams are the same, and this variety, collaboration, and large mugs of coffee make every design unique and personal.

My two beautiful, busy daughters keep me active outside of work hours, running around from one activity to the next. The older one amazes us with delicious cakes and the amount of books she can devour, while the younger one impresses us with her robotics and acro skills, rounded off with poetry and artistic talent. Home and work life keep me growing, developing, and learning on a daily basis, and keep me excited for what is to come next.
